In less than a week, I’ll be headed to Iceland. Greta and Jerome will accompany me. Greta as a companion is a no-brainer; she’s from Iceland. Jerome made his case: He’s the least well-traveled of the critters who hang out in The Study.
Pictured here is Greta telling us the must-see places on or near the Ring Road around the island. After confirming my desire to stop at Vestrahorn, she started laughing — and couldn’t stop — as Jerome tried to pronounce all the names of all her highly rated waterfalls on the trip. Granted, Jerome’s not the best with human words. He couldn’t even get out one of the easiest. That being, “Seljalandsfoss.”
